Jane is the founder of Newhouse Wildlife Rescue. She has 6 years of experience as a veterinary technician and holds a license with the state of Massachusetts to rehabilitate wildlife. She handles the intake, general care, feeding, cleaning and training of the animals in our care. She speaks with the public and answers all calls that come in relating to wildlife in need.
Dr. Vasilakis earned her degree in veterinary medicine from Tufts University. She currently works at Linwood Animal Hospital in Lowell. Dr. Vasilakis donates her time to our facility to make sure our animals receive the very best veterinary care. To avoid causing the animals the stress of travel, she comes to our facility to do the exams. She often comes having already worked all day caring for domestic animals, but never complains. We are lucky to have her on our team!
Brandon is an integral part of our operation. Not only does he help care for the animals in our facility, but Brandon builds our custom cages and anything else the animals may need. He holds a Construction Supervisors License with the state of Massachusetts and owns Superior Kitchens & Baths in Chelmsford. Brandon is an incredible carpenter and his skills have enabled us to give the animals enclosures that greatly enrich their lives.
